It was in 2006 when Cluekid, 19-year-old producer and Bullfrog Beats owner became familiar with the sounds of the Dubstep. Through his frequent partner-in-crime Cotti (Bassface Recordings & -30 Records, the latter together with Cluekid) and another mate - Chef who we know already – Clue started to focus on Dubstep.

From listening some Skream classics like Glamma & Midnight Request Line (over the phone!) he moved to producing some classics of his own (together with Cotti as well) in the likes of “Legacy”, “Sensi Dub” and solo a track like “Hovercraft” which all qualify Cluekid as someone to be taken serious when it comes down to making beats.

Cluekid also has love for jungle sounds, as stated in an article on Dubstep in XLR8R issue 115. We’re confident you will like his jungly sounds as well.

In his own words: "I come from norwood upon the hill. I've liked music from day. Originally I played the drums, and I was into a lot of older rock music. I've always liked jungle and the tunes of William Shatner. My dad was the first to show me about music as he was a guitarist. When I was about 16 I got into grime just spitting bars, I always felt the more bassline beats though. Around the same time I linked Cotti and he was doin' grime aswell. He put me in his crew 4n4mat, we were on pirate radio doin sets. Thats when I started makin' beats. About a year later I linked Chef and he showed me about dubstep, I linked [with] Loefah and he showed me some beats. After that I went to dmz and was just on it all the time."
